This kid is going places. We think they deserve an A+!

Groot’s character in the Marvel Avengers series, and in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies, may be limited to only one line of dialogue — the words, “I am Groot” — but that doesn’t mean his remarks don’t make a huge impact. Sometimes less is more, and Groot is the perfect embodiment of that.

So naturally, when a student was asked to create a resume and cover letter for a Marvel character as part of an assignment, they chose to outline the skill sets of the most qualified character for any and every job: Groot.

The teacher who assigned the project shared the stellar resume and cover letter on Facebook, and it has since gone viral. And once you see this student’s A+ work, you’ll understand why.

The teacher explained the assignment on social media:

“My students had to pick a Marvel character to embody within a resume and cover letter,” he wrote. “The idea that you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take lives within one particular student of mine.”

Behold: Groot’s resume and cover letter:

This student was accurately able to portray just how qualified Groot is using only the words, “I am Groot.” It’s quite fitting, considering that’s all Groot says. And it’s all he needs to say to get his point across.

People couldn’t help but react positively to the student’s creativity with this project.

“This is a full marks assignment if I ever saw one,” Twitter user @Llyw wrote.

Many feel that the student portrayed just enough in this one assignment to warrant never doing another assignment again.

“This kid got an A+ and never needs to do an assignment again right,” @AndrewVoyer wrote on Twitter.

Others can’t deny the student’s potential:

“This kid’s going places,” @SHOTGUN_S4M wrote on Twitter.

Clearly, Groot and the student responsible for this work left a lasting impression on people. What more could you hope to achieve with a resume and cover letter?

Mission accomplished! Now, time to celebrate. Say it with me — “I AM GROOT!”
